Excellent stroll, morning, noon or night..

Very clean, safe and modern, refurbished areas along the entire waterfront and a very pleasant walk to be had.

The long walk that starts at the old Port and ends at Le Meridien is breathtaking and always next to the sea.Shops reataurants and kiosks along the way help the "lasy" ones.Clean and safe even at Night.

We stopped in Limassol on a cruise and didn't feel like visiting any of the ruins and didn't have time (read too hungover) to get to any of the small villages. We took a publicc bus into town wandered around the old town and the shops and then spent the afternoon strolling up and down the promenade and having the... More

We parked on the car park on the promenade so we could have a walk into town and on the way back walked the promenade I would say it's a wide stretch of path suited for walking, cycling or whatever you means of non motorised travel is. Views over the ocean, cafe and bars along the way and very windy.... More

Wait until 1/4 when the season starts until the end of October. Attractive long waterfront promenade. Good for jogging and walking. Walk your dog! Walk on a sunny day.

In fine weather it is worth a stroll down the promenade towards the old harbour and the new marina, where you will find a good range of eateries and coffee shops

The area has been upgraded and renamed. This promenade goes from the city center to the hotel district and is ideal for long pleasant walks and not only…. The name ‘prokymea’ [waterfront jetty] was chosen following the installation of a series of jetties which weave seamlessly in and out water to reflect the eternal egg and flow of the Mediterranean... The Promenade is built on the reclamation area of the old Limassol molos. Renovated over a number of years now represents a landmark in Limassol and a must visit for children to play around and for adults to enjoy long walks. Strongly recommended!

I have walked/ran/jogged/rested along the seafront on many occasions either solo, with my partner/ friends It is very scenic (ongoing constructions aside) It can get very busy with other strollers, joggers, etc but overall a good place to visit with the many interspersed taverna/frozen yoghurt huts etc enabling a hot or weary traveller rest and respite. They have several events... More
