Climb the stairs and enjoy a beautiful view of Salamis Bay. Another advantage is the position in the tax free area of the harbour!

Worth a visit if you're nearby to climb up and take a look back inland at the city. Identifiable by the Venetian Lion at the entrance.

The sea gate is worth the climb up to look inland. Great vantage point over the historic city of Famagusta. Unfortunately, the sea view is now a port. Don't miss the Venetian Lion at the base of the stairs!

When visiting the walled city within Famagusta this is worth a tour, the whole inner sanctum of the walls is dotted with historic buildings and you will find the Sea Gate a good part of your tour around with cafés, restaurants and shops all around.

When Famagusta was surrounded with walls there were 2 Gates that were in use to enter the walled city. One was called Ravelin and the other one Sea Gate. These places are one of the tourist attractions nowadays.

Worth a look and a climb up the steps for great views of the city, harbour and surrounding area. You can see the Venetian lions here.
