KUNSTMUSEUM- Vaduz
A cool little museum. Broken up between buildings and steep flights of stairs.
A museum that’s alive…I came on a Saturday morning and not only did I get eclectic modern art, they had a poetry reading with some lights and music.

We went to visit the museum on a rainy day with little else to do. The museum was smaller than I expected. The Paco Knöller exhibition (from the Hilti Art Foundation) was good, the other exhibition (paerliament of plants) I did not like so much and the third one (Martina Morger) I found disappointing. The museum itself is is fairly small and in less than an hour you have seen everything - though the building itself is exciting. It's ok for a rainy day but I would not travel to Vaduz just for this museum..

This is a wonderful modern art museum with wonderfully curated exhibitions. There are only a few rooms set out through a few buildings, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Allow a few hours. There is also a small cafe and gift shop. The outdoor sculptures are also great. What a treat to find this place!
As others have mentioned, there is no charge on Wednesday. But it is worth it regardless!

Was not expecting much (just walking around downtown Vaduz) but the day we went in the museum was free. The exhibits were intriguing, some of them being interactive, and we actually had a great time enjoying the local art.

We visited the museum today. Based upon the pictures, we expected some Picasso paintings and more of that quality level. The permanent modern art collection was after all not much more than some wooden doors sawed in two, parts of outdoor chairs, old theater decors and an empty swimming pool. Where is the sense for real art?

There are different thematic exhibitions, all with interesting works. They give you pamphlets, which give you more insight into the works and the exhibition.

The kunstmuseum is a very nice integral part of Vaduz centre. On top of the hill adjacent to it is the castle where the Royal family lives.

If you’re interested in arts, whatever kind of, you should visit this museum. If you own the Experience-Pass, the entry is free. Nice arts, not only from the past. They have WiFi.
