Very well maintained historical cemetery of Service members who died in the battles of WWII. Similar in style to the Arlington Cemetery, the immaculate grounds are all “Dress Right Dress”. Two large scale historical maps outlining the battles of the war and peaceful chapel greet...More

We have visited the Luxembourg American Cemetery more than a few times. It is one of the places we always take visiting American friends. The cemetery is well maintained, and breath-taking if you have never seen a WWII cemetery. The highlight is visiting Patton's grave....More

Northern Luxembourg was a main location for the Battle of the Bulge, and while the cemetery is far from the battlefields, it is nevertheless an impressive historical monument.

Unexpected huge cementery in the capital of Louxembourg. It is necessary to go by car. It is pure history of the second world war

We took the no. 15 bus. It's then about a 15 minute walk to the cemetery. It is well-signposted, but the path and way through the woods is a little rough!

Good question. I'd be inclined to think, "No" but I can't be certain. They have contact info on their website if you want to call or email. (abmc.gov/cemeteries-memorials/europe/luxembourg-american-cemetery) Good luck.

I agree with cohba3980: The young lady who was our guide was quite cordial and enthusiastic, on the whole rather friendly.
