Enjoy a walk around the old city of Luxembourg with beautiful views onto the Gründ (Ground), the old lower part of the fortress where hospital, prison and poor workers were living, but now an animated and lively part of the city with cafés, lounges and...More
A gentle walk along the city wall from Grund up to the Castle Bridge offers you the chance to have best views of the city. Gardens, houses and nice architecture with river down below are photo-taking opportunities for visitors.
Chemin de la Corniche is a narrow steep road leading from Grund up to the Castle Bridge. It offers amazing views to the architecture along the river Alzette. Unfortunately cars are allowed there which is a bit disturbing.
Strategic location to take very nice pictures. From Passrelle, you can walk taking the route that passes Neumunster Abbey and just follow the path / road that leads to Le Chemin de la Corniche. It pays to start exploring early in the morning when there...More

Yes, the train station is very close to the city centre. To reach the centre or any other quarters, you can take a bus or a taxi from the train station to any destination. If you're travelling light and the weather isn't rainy, you may just walk a 10 minute walk, and have a look at the ground-city, that looks great from our beautiful bridges, which link the train station district to the city centre. Have a fun stay in Luxembourg!
