More

I was simply amazed. I love modern art, but this was the best I've ever seen. The building itself is a piece of art, spacious, light and beautiful. The exhibitions were great, nothing big, but we left with plenty of great impressions. We went there...More

My partner decided that we would head over to the otherside of the city to find this museum. Before knowing about the existence of the Pfaffenthal lift, we took the winy and slippery path down into the valley and back up the other side. We...More

The museum is very well laid-out, with a pleasant spacious ambience filled with natural light. There is a gallery showcasing some of its permanent collections, together with other temporary exhibitions separated into different floors, all accessible by lifts and stairs. There are also a museum...More

A superb spacious venue for contemporary as the glass pefectly utilises the natural light. A series of varied, complex & challenging installations are on show and at €7 isn't a bad price as you will spend several hours there (it's free on Wednesday evenings) There...More

You definitely need a tutorial for this one, especially if you are not a person who knows much about art. But also if you are an artist yourself. The exhibitions that we've seen I found quite inspiring, it's a nice place to be alone with...More

Visit the Mudam for a relaxing couple of hours viewing some unusual modern art. Always an interesting take on developing and established modern artists. How wonderful to see up to minute art in such a traditional city.

What makes this interesting is that it has the same designer as the Louvre and it is stuck on top of the fort to highlight how well the old blends in with the new. I'm not convinced by that, but there are some interesting exhibits...More

Name: Luxembourg Modern Art Museum (MUDAM). How ever you'll hardly find modern art. It's all about contemporary art. So, either you like it or you don't, one thing's for sure, the building itself is worth a visit. Don't care about empty walls, garbage on the...More

Went with my 18 year old daughter. Look, in truth, we only went in because it was on the Luxembourg card (very good value btw) and we are not arty. Staff were lovely and came out from behind the desk to explain what we were...More
