Worth a look if passing by - a photo opportunity. One guard at the main entrance, marching in front of palace occasionally. Not allowed inside.

Kids liked to watch the marching guards. I studied the stone carved facade and balconies. We didn't go inside.

Not so much a Palace these days as it contains offices used daily for the smooth running of the country. A very impressive building nevertheless.

I had the chance to see it from the inside and compared to other palaces I have seen it is modest like the country it represents, none of the pompous luxury of Buckingham Palace.

Luxembourg being a very small country Royalty here is much more modest than the grandiose palaces of much larger countries but it is very beautiful and tasteful to boot. Guards march all day in front.

As it is than already May and the tourist seasons started, I am sure it will be open for the routine visits. It is a small palace, but it looks great! Enjoy this small but beautiful capital city and don't forget the posh... More
