We sat to the right (out of view) during our pre-Christmas visit to Valletta. The service was meaningful and simple. And of course the place was pretty much at capacity. As Canadians we were caught off guard by the presence of Allied, mostly Commonwealth flags...More

Malta is full of very ornate, richly decorated churches that can come across as quite oppressive. This church is much lighter, not so dark and ornate, with plain glass. Building work going on at the moment in the parish hall.

Charming Anglican cathedral. Does not have the grandeur of some of Malta's cathedral but nice quiet place and very welcoming guides.

Absolutely wonderful, so peaceful and so unfussy compared with all the other churches I have seen here (although they are also very really woirth seeing). I was made welcome by a lovely lady who was obviously a volunteer.

I really wanted to like this place given it's integral part in the city skyline. I suppose in a city full of ornate churches at least it's different, nevertheless I left a bit underwhelmed. It's free to enter though you can make a voluntary donation.

Very plain, compared to the baroque masterpieces one finds on Malta. Still it's historic and worth a look.
