Definitely a must do in Valletta to better understand what the order of Saint John was all about. Anna our guide is quite the storyteller and I could almost smell the garden that is long gone by now. Be careful for the ticket price though,...More

It is impressive how this building had a role to play in such a great extent of Malta's history. Go for me, you'll read many things you didn't even imagine (if you're not a historian)

A rather unremarkable building from the exterior which lends itself to a time warp of how hospitals were run in the days of knights, nobility and the poor. Currently used as a Conference Centre for visiting dignitaries and Eu gatherings. Rather bland but the history...More

Visited at the second attempt as arrived just before closing the first time. The entrance fee is only 5 euros and in our opinion well worth it. There is mainly only one room which is full of dioramas and manikin figures. Be sure to read...More

This is an interesting display, both for the general history of Malta, and more particularly the role the Knights played in providing health facilities for the island. Worth an hour or two.

This is quite an interesting tour to take if you have the time. For us it was quite a learning experience. The Knights of the Order of St John, or Knights Hospitallers, were a very old religious order who were dedicated to defending Christianity but...More

I found this tour very interesting. It can be purchased separately or with The Malta Experience. We went later in the day and the wax works area was closed by 4.00. This was disappointing . Not sure if this is everyday so worth checking.
