Lovely family-run souvenir shop with items that are more modern and wearable in 2019 - great gifts! Bought fun T-shirt’s, mugs, tea towels and a grocery bag. I wish they sold Malta salt! It is a short 10 min walk through a lively neighborhood from downtown Sliema. They sell fun modern posters too.

I love to bring some souvenirs home from traveling abroad. BUT, usually I don't because souvenirs are boring, not appealing or outright pug-ugly.
The stuff at prints of wales is different! I really liked the creative designs and bought a shirt and two bags.

If you like walking, check out there t-shirts. Great subtle print idea that's taken the island's of Malta Comono and Gozo to make 'footprints'. It's a young couple of designers just starting out. A lovely shop, only downside is slightly limited choice (but that's coz I really liked their ideas and wanted to see more!)

My wife and I visited Malta in early September. Beautiful country. While checking into our hotel in Valletta I was thumbing thru a magazine and saw an ad for Prints of Wales. It looked like an interesting place but didn't give it too much thought after that. One day we took the ferry across to Sliema to have lunch near Balluta Bay. On our walk from the Sliema ferry towards Balluta Bay, we passed by Prints of Wales. I told my wife that I had read about this place and wanted to stop in. Thank God we did. This is a great shop offering creative and different t-shirts, bags, buttons, and stickers. The couple that own the store were super nice and made us feel right at home. I do wish they had more of a selection but was told that they were relatively new and that a wider selection was in the works. The selection that they did have was awesome and I only wish (now, of course!) that we had bought more for family and friends. You'd be cheating yourself if you didn't take the time to stop by for a visit here. One note to the owners: You had a "Straight Outta Sliema" sticker for sale when we were there.....this would make an awesome t-shirt in gray. Anyway, thank you for your hospitality and best wishes.

Hello dkpot, Thank you so much for your detailed review and suggestion. We are very positive about the "Straight outta Sliema" shirt. Most likely it will come in a couple months. Stay tuned and check our online store from time to time, or our FB page "Maltashirts", if you are still interested ;-) Thank you also for stopping by, of course. Highly appreciated! Have a good day. Best wishes from Sliema!

This is a fantastic little souvenir shop about 5 minutes walk up the hill from either of the two waterfronts at Sliema. It's a little off the main tourist trail, but is well worth seeking out if you want something to take home to remind you of your visit to Malta that is a bit more stylish than the usual tourist tat.

Everything they sell has been designed in house and, where possible, locally sourced. They have mugs, t-shirts, prints, postcards and magnets - really stylish and not too expensive either.

I can thoroughly recommend this place, the staff are lovely and are happy to chat about all their products.

You're unlikely to just walk past this place, but take 5 minutes to explore a back street and you definitely won't be disappointed.

Great shop! They have so many cool stuff to get as a souvenir or gift. You will find there mugs, cool tshirts, hoodies, posters, postcards and even pin badges and magnets. You won't find anything like it on the rest of the island.
Got myself a hoody with the typographic map of Malta. I love it!
The vibe of the shop is trendy with an edgy feel.
Definitely a place to visit before you leave ;)

We chanced on this shop when we were walking back to our holiday accommodation. It's an unlikely pairing, both in the folk who set it up (an American and a Pole) and in their quirky sense of humour (not traditional Maltese). I am Maltese but have lived abroad for many years- I appreciated their gentle dig at the superfluousness of words like "Mela!" and I liked the subtle wit of footsteps printed across a Tshirt that were in fact a repeat of the drawing of an outline of the 3 main islands of Malta. I was thoroughly impressed by how speedily they had assimilated the nuances of Maltese as a spoken language, and the happy chance integration of Star Trek with the Maltese cross. The front -of -house American could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
Love it! I will be back.

If you are not looking for the usual souvenir shop this is your place. Smart prints on t-shirts, mugs, posters and magnets all designed by the owners. Malta at it's best....
