If you like historic places, you cannot miss a visit to Mdina while in Malta. It is surrounded with bastions, has museums, churches, palaces, ecc. And a wonderful view of the East to South of Malta.

With a ton of history, nice little streets, almost no traffic and with the classic tourist taps of souvenir shops and local artisans. You haven't been to Malta without dropping by.
