Had it not been included as part of the Heritage Pass, we would not have come. Small cells to look at with old grafetti. information given about prison conditions. Rather skippable.

When you go to the prison, you can just imagine those who were held here, etching their marks into the walls, to be preserved for centuries!

Although very small site with the Malta heritage pass entry is free and it really does have to be seen to be believed. The graffiti of yesteryear leaves you speechless.

My favourite part of the Old Prison was seeing the ancient graffiti - there are carvings from 136AD!!!! (Pictured)

Yes it is and it is very easy to find. Go to the front of the cathedral, up the steps and turn left following what looks like a long balcony. It will lead you to the front door! I hope this is helpful!
