Interesting to see the old prison inside the outer walls of the Citadel. Would not have been a pleasant stay for anyone unlucky enough to be locked up here. Tickets for a number of attractions within the Citadel can be purchased from the Visitor centre...More

An interesting place. Man on desk was very knowledgeable and keen to share. Cells to see, prisoner graffiti and boards that explain lives of inmates.

If you can spend longer than 10 minutes here then you’re doing well. Useful information that can be digested in English with a few cells to visit. No access for wheelchairs but I wouldn’t worry. Go and buy some paint and watch it dry as...More

The old Prison was an okay place to visit but you can view it in about 10 minutes. I feel like it needs more to make it a better attraction. Maybe it needs a tour guide or more interactive elements to be put in place....More

An interesting site worth a visit, especially since it is covered by a combined ticket for the museum. You should not pass on a chance to step into one of the small cells in which inmates spent years of their lives centuries ago. Original graffiti...More

Yes it is and it is very easy to find. Go to the front of the cathedral, up the steps and turn left following what looks like a long balcony. It will lead you to the front door! I hope this is helpful!
