In addition to the amazing Azure Window, there are some interesting rocks, one shaped like a human face, another like a crocodile. Also, the purple corals, the caves and the blue water are beautiful. I definitely recommend a boat trip to enjoy all of these.

Most will visit Azure Window, take a few selfies and catch the next bus back to Victoria. What's well worth the time is a walk down the amazing coast to Dwejra Bar, spend a few hours and really appreciate this magic of nature.

Nothing is far away in Gozo, but this is certainly a site to see, even off the beaten track a little. Watch out for tour bus's on the road. Take your camera. There is quite a lot of wonderful photo opportunities here. A local friend told us that there is a crack in the natural arch and it is only... More

The Azure Window is beautiful but Dwejra has much more going for it than just this arch. If you'd like to find out about Dwejra's often overlooked sides, read my blog post by googling 'Science Wanders Dwejra'. There's good reason why Dwejra is my favourite spot in Gozo by far!

One of a kind rock formation for all kinds of tourist. Seascape its amazing in every type of weather. Definitely a place to go and capture every moment of it before it vanishes through weathering.

Beautiful site - the restaurants and "craft shops" are just typical tourist traps. Wait till you get back to a city and buy food and drink there but make sure you do take water along for the journey

A spectacular rock formation, well worth seeing. Great for divers and snorkelers. Toilets available as are snacks, ices and drinks. Small market going on when we were there which looked like it was run by hippies left over from the flower power days. There is a car park. This area is not suitable for those with mobility problems nor in... More

This popular tourist spot is frequented by divers and tourists alike. The main attraction for tourists is the Azure Window (see my separate review) Dwerja bay can be reached easily by the local bus service from the central Victoria Bus station in approximately 25-30 minutes, the fare being a very reasonable 1 Euro 50 cents for a single journey, but... The Azure Window is quite spectacular and is well worth visiting. It makes for great photos. Other visitors were clambering over the top but we decided to give this activity a miss! One day, as with most geological arches, the top will surely drop into the sea leaving the rock furthest from the land as a stack. Let's hope this... More

Swim in the bay! When at the top looking at fungus rock, walk left towards the cliff and bay. There is a stairwell that takes you down to the bay. Less people and beautiful swimming. It is deep though! A big drop off, be careful. Along the cliff is a bunch of caves that you can swim past if you're... More
