The lagoon is fantastic, as well as the rest of the island which you can easily walk around. Go early, as the small beach fills up very quickly.

We hired a lovely guy named Jonathan to drive us around the caves and then drop us off at the Blue Lagoon for a swim and a walk across the island of Comino. We were picked up a few hours later after eating a delicious...More

This place is a must see when visiting Malta. We recommend taking a private boat (should cost around €300 for 3.5 hours) and taking a swim in the water there. One of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean.

I visited this gorgeous lagoon while on a cruise around the island. It was stunning, but it was also very crowded. Look for other options in getting there if the overcrowding is a problem for you. There was a toilette right where the boats docked....More

I think it’s possible to hire a boat privately and stay there till later in the evening or it might be worth seeing if you can stay overnight in the hotel near Blue Lagoon.

Hi Lola, I have never been there in October, but at least what my maltese friends have told me is that in that time of the year starts the bad weather. But maybe you have good luck and the weather is fantastic. Who knows... More

Yes. We swam in the first week of April. The Maltese will say it is freezing!
