Lovely short walk from the castle. Would suggest trainers though as it can be slippy.
We had an early lunch and then took a walk to the the Japanesse water garden before we checked in. The autumn colours were superb .
These gardens are a fantastic place to visit complete with its own waterfall truly worth a visit. Just a very short walk from the castle maybe unsuitable for people with walking difficulties as it has uneven path leading to it.
This is a must this little walk, the scenery is amazing, probably not really recommend for people with poor mobility as the steps can be quite steep. I will be back to Stobo soon and will visit the Japanese gardens during my next stay. Don’t...More
