I learned so much about Iceland. It was a pleasant museum and very quick and painless to navigate. The City Pass is definitely worth it.

History and exhibits well laid out. For children there is a quiz sheet which I was tempted to do. Free cloakroom where you can leave wet clothes or outdoor clothes you'll not be wanting in the next couple of hours. Nice cafe and shop too.
