We were looking for an attraction close to Keflavik and we found the laval tunnel at the last minute. The very knowledgeable guide made the experience memorable and unique. This is not an ordinary cave; it is worth the stop.

Very new but excellent tour into a lava tunnel. Informative guides answering all the questions. See where lava has left its mark in the land. Diffrent marks made by hit and cooling lava.

30 minutes from Reykjavik by bus. Tour guides were very informational, allowed time for questions and explained the lava tubes throughly and answered any questions. Had lots of time for photos.

A great experience to go down a tube made of lava. Never knew anything like this existed. Stalactites and stalagmites made of lava too. If you have an interest in geology it is a must; I have no interest in this subject but found the...More
