Many thanks to our guide, Maria, who hosted us inside the lava tunnel. This was well worth the trip. We went with Reykvik Siteseeing to the snow cave in the morning and the lava tubes in the afternoon.

The tour was very well organized. They provide hard hats with a head light, chain clamp on’s and Even walking sticks. The walking surface is an uneven rock floor. A walking stick comes in handy if you have trouble walking. Metal stairs are inside the...More

What an amazing experience - stepping inside a lava tube from an actual volcanic eruption! Not something you can describe unless you experience it. The formations are breathtaking and it is very eerie being so deep in the earth. The terrain is NOT suitable if...More

We were looking for an attraction close to Keflavik and we found the laval tunnel at the last minute. The very knowledgeable guide made the experience memorable and unique. This is not an ordinary cave; it is worth the stop.

Very new but excellent tour into a lava tunnel. Informative guides answering all the questions. See where lava has left its mark in the land. Diffrent marks made by hit and cooling lava.
