Just go downstairs and you will see it! They have a good beer selection (specially the ales) with similar prices to other pubs in Reykjavik, Very clean, cozy and friendly staff. They have a happy hour too!!
Micro Bar is a good place for Icelandic craft beer. There were many options and we had fun playing some of their board games while enjoying our drinks. We were surprised by the price $30+ for a 5 drink flight of beer. Similar craft beers...More
Continuing our bar hopping stopped in here. They have a nice selection of draughts with plenty of communal tables for people to talk....also have a nice bar, which is where I sat. Very high-energy vibe and cool. Go visit
Went in for a drink, stayed for 8. Really nice warm atmosphere, great selection of drinks and solid entertainment (board games etc). As with anything food or drink related in Iceland, a little pricey but worth it when put in context.

Really cool underground bar with great craft beer! They offer a flight of 10 beers; great way to taste a majority of Iceland's beers. Cool place to spend a few hours while exploring the city. Pricey but what isn't in Iceland!

I'm a woman here by myself now. I met another young woman at the bus station and we walked into town together at 6am. I met another solo traveler during a walking tour. I would say your daughter should and will feel comfortable everywhere here. I like to travel by myself but this is a place that even a first time solo traveler will feel comfortable. Everyone is really nice. That isn't to say that she shouldn't use common sense, because everyone should. But here in Reykjavik and throughout Iceland she will be able to have a great time without too much worry.
