Built in the beginning of the 20th century, Höfði was chosen as the summit between president Reagan and Secretary Gorbachev in 1986 thus beginning the end of the cold war.

This was a very close walk from our hotel. It could be seen from the back of the hotel. we did not go in because it wasn't open when we were there

We visited on New Years Day so it was closed, but there was still interesting information to read on the grounds of the house and lovely scenery to take in.

The history that goes with this building is interesting. I wish our tour would of stopped so I could of taken a picture. Look it up on the internet to see which one of our Presidents made history here.

We literally just walked around this building as its closed to the public which seems a shame, obviously its of historical interest but it sure not worth making a special visit to see it, buy a postcard, much less hassle.

This historic house is worth seeing. It was here that Ronald Reagan and Mikael Gorbachev met when the Soviet Union fell. What an interesting choice for talks...

Not much to see but it is note worthy because of the Reykjavik Summit between President Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev

This house is on the opposite side of city center, about 20 minute walk from Harpa Concert Hall. The house looks like what's on the picture. It's closed to public. No point of going, wasting of time. I was there, took some pictures, and left.
