This is a lovely facility with great views. Booked out months in advance for dinner. Had a cake and tea and a blissful peaceful sit down. worth the walk to it.

Really clever way to hide 4 large water towers next to an airport...turn it into a tourist attraction. Nice architecture, mediocre to above average food, great views of the city.

Yes, you Must go to Perla. But that's all you need. It is one of the highest points around Reykjavik so the views are wonderful. Surrounding the Perla building are the hot water storage tanks for a large portion of Reykjavik. Iceland's water is heated geo-thermally and in this case, the heated water from underground is stored in these tanks.... More

Beautiful views. One of our first stops on our first day City tour. We had breakfast there. Selection wasn't huge, but was happy with their Icelandic yogurt :)

Unfortunately we were not able to see any of the views due to the fogginess of the day. We had some Icelandic ice cream and a malt drink there, but the line was so incredibly long that we had eaten it prior to getting to the cashier. We also spent our entire time waiting in line, as we were on... More

We arrived as a school group and went off to discover this fascinating place. We were told about this venue earlier on in the week as part of our Geothermal studies. There was a CD & record fair on the ground floor of the building and afterwards we headed up to the observation deck outside. A wonderful sight met us... More

We walked to this building, which is not the easiest to get to. We were glad we did tho as you get amazing views from the viewing platform which is right round the dome. It's a nice building with a cafe and restaurant. In the cafe you can buy soup, coffee or teas with free refills. A fountain/geyser erupts every... More
