Our three days in Iceland became an adventure, thanks to Gudrun Helga - our wonderful guide. She made sure, we saw things, we didnt know existed, she is calm, pleasant and seems to know everything. I came with my grown up son, and Gudrun Helga designed the perfect programme for us. My warmest recommendations! We will come back.

My college friends and I hired Gudrun Helga as a private guide for the day. We had an amazing time! Gudrun drove us everywhere - national park, Gullfoss, Geysir, Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, etc. Gudrun also took us to this wonderful farm for lunch. Not only does Gudrun have a lovely personality but her knowledge of Icelandic history and culture is unmatched!... More

The Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail goes from Skogar to Thormork (or the other way around, but I would definitely start in Skogar). The walk begins with climbing steps next to a amazing waterfall. Since we did not really know what was ahead of us (we only knew it would take 10-11 hours) we watched in awe already here. The trail contains... More

We are Iceland-beginners and wanted to do some outdoor activities. Looking up the blue sky after the breakfast and we decided very spontaneously that we go for a hiking. We were so lucky that our concierge booked us at the "Mountain Climbing" . "Mountain Climbing" was very flexible to custom fit our needs (half-day hiking in short notice) and we... More

This is a long day trip from Reykjavik. The adventure starts with the 4WD trip up a valley, involving the crossing of many rivers, some of which were almost too deep. The hike takes you up ridges and plateaus to a new lava/cinder cone, which was still very warm in places. Steam is still rising from the lava flows, which... More
