Very beautiful building both inside and out. Brilliant concert and excellent young choir. We obviously we're tourists but a lot of people seemed to know each other which was nice to see. A very good atmosphere. Don't listen to the negative comments on here it really is a very nice place to visit.

We were so lucky that seats were still available for the show Saturday, Dec. 3. Operatic arias, a choir with 89 voices, excellent opera orchestra, concluding with Christmas music gave us a thrilling evening. The standing ovation led to an encore. There was no program and the beautiful mistress of ceremonies introduced the music in Icelandic, but the music mostly... More

This is a beautiful building. Having visited Reykjavik 10 years ago during the summer months, this was not yet built and it is a beautiful addition to the harbor area.

I just saw a Christmas Concert at this venue. Its a beautiful modern building. Glass surrounds the entire building providing great views. I recommend getting there early to walk around and take the escalator to the top. Bars on every floor. The building is lid up with blue lights on the outside. Pretty.

Beautiful building right on the waterfront........interesting views....inside and out. Large concert hall that has ticketed shows and musical guests. Lots of opportunity for great photography. Was decked out for Christmas quite prettily!! Building outside looks like fish scales and is lit at night to resemble the "Northern Lights".

I didn't attend any events at Harpa, but it's open to the public to walk in and look around. If you are in Reykjavik, it's worth a look because of the interesting design of the building. At night, the glass facade is lit up in colorful lights and looks really nice. Definitely a good place to spend some time taking... More

Interesting building beside the sea and close to the city center. We did not go to any concert. A big shop for expensive tourist junk, looked like local, but was mainly made outside of Iceland.

We passed this building one evening in a bus on our way to the Northern Lights and it is designed so that it looks like the windows are changing colour giving a glittering effect in the darkness. Returning the next in the daylight, and going inside this time the building has a simple elegance about it, a serenity that is... More
