Our group of 5 visited this 'sculpture'. It is neat to look at, however being December it was windswept and cold. It has a nice location though with the mountains/cliffs in view across the harour. Worth the effort to seek it out. Very walkable from...More

What a wonderful sculpture.. doesn't explain anything about it though but it's so pretty. There is a geocache box near by also.. It's in the rocks! Good luck.

Great location, great views of the waterfront but windy so can be very chilly! You can get the Cityhopper bus which will drop you off there. Smaller than you might expect but a great photo opportunity.

I love this sculpture. Its location and design make it a really moving place to visit, and it's just as stunning close to as it is from a distance. It can get busy though so we went to see it early in the morning before...More

Not much is free in Iceland, however this is! I visited a number of times, at different times of the day/night. Its a piece piece to capture sunsets etc. behind.

I found this amazing sculpture on my first walk from my hotel. It is in a lovely location, and beautiful to see. I walked by it every day of my trip, and it my favorite sculpture of the ones I saw.

This is a pretty cool sculpture that I stopped at while walking along the water. It is quite an attraction as many people where taking photos the day that I stopped.

Beautiful abstract Viking ship, with beautiful scenery in the background for photos. Worth a stop if walking along the waterfront.

That´s not true. In December in Reykjavik you have at least 4 hours of light. You can go to the page timeanddate, and check there the sunrises and the sunsets. Hope it help you.
