The History Museum of Reykjanesbaer is located close to the Duus museum itself. It has some beautiful and interesting artifacts and reconstructions from olden times. It is concerned with Reykjanes peninsula history and Keflavik mainly.

Upstairs as part of the Duushus Museum, this historic display features a series of room settings showing what life was like in early Keflavik.
