Oscar and Iris are absolutely fantastic, and our Iceguide Ice Caves Tour was definitely one of the highlights of my Iceland vacation. We had a group of seven, and Iris was extremely accommodating, overriding the system's six-person maximum so that we could complete our booking. The day of, Oscar greeted us and took us over to the glacier in his... More

We were met by Oscar, one of the Ice guides at the parking area to the Breioamerkurjokull glacier (feeds the glacier lagoon). He supplied the crampons, safety belts, D-rings etc to safely navigate the glacier. About a 1.25 mile hike to the edge of the glacier, then about 150 meters on the crest with an ice stair steps down into... More

I was nervous about going but this was so fantastic. I would recommend the Ice Cave Tour to anyone. Our guides were Gulli and Laufey and they were wonderful. I am not in fantastic shape but she made my experience so easy. She helped me with my crampons and helmet and made sure I was ok. She even borrowed a... More

We met our guide at the designated area. There were about 12 people in our group. After a 30 minutes ride through the rugged terrain, we arrived at the bases of the glacier. We had the opportunity to enter and explore the inside of the cave. Only seen in the winter. The many hues of blue ice danced on the... More

Actually we have booked the ice cave tour but due to the bad weather condition the tour need to be cancel. The local guide email informed us and ask if we would like replace with glacier hiking instead. Since we were at Iceland so we go ahead with the arrangement. The hiking boots and crampon were provided during the hike.... More

We decided to go in mid-march which is at the tail end of the season for the glacial caves. When we met our guide, Oskar, he was very friendly and personable. He expressed concern because it had been quite warm the past few days, and the cave was filling with water. We would be able to go as deeply in... More

We decided last minute to book this tour. The booking was full but I contacted them by email and they found a slot for us. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We got to enjoy a much quieter glacier lagoon than the main one and even got the opportunity to walk into an ice cave. The tour was a smaller... More

This was far and away the highlight of my trip. Our guides Oskar and Stephen were fantastic and engaging, the glacier lagoon was beautiful and it's easy to pick up for amateur kayakers. My trip was actually the last run of the season, but they definitely knew how to make it count.

Normally I don't book tours but this is one that you can't miss! This is a little more off the beaten path, there are no other tourists around which makes it even more worth while. The views were incredible! Definitely one of the highlights from Iceland! Arni was a great guide and let us walk in an ice cave inside... More

Our hotel was in Reykjavik. In order to see the Ice Caves we needed to get to the Lagoon. Our plan was to drive to Jokulsarlon Lagoon from Reykjavik early morning, do the tour and came back in the evening. This is what we did. I would actually recommend staying near the Lagoon for one night. This way you can... More
