We were advised not to miss this place, but in comparison for instance with the glacier Jokusarlon, whale watching, geysers, Gullfoss waterfall and other places the lake Myvatn can be skipped. Moskytoes, very bad opportunities to eat, go further a bit and stay in

Myvatn us such a beautiful place....The lake is stunning and there is a volcano tuft you can walk up. The view is breath taking and you can see the glow from the lava at bardabunga....I couldn't believe my eyes

The boiling mud pots are a must! Many lava fields, and caves, looks fake even in person! The most unique and strange place i have ever seen!
