The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas is based in the historical Finlayson cotton mill area in the heart of Tampere. At Werstas you can visit the Labour Museum's exhibitions, Textile Industry Museum and Steam Engine Museum, free admission.

Free museum, lots of interesting information, both on the permanent exhibition, but also on the temporary exhibitions. 2 to 3h for a complete visit.

OK museum because it's free, I will never pay for it, but because it's free It pretty good! But you can donate to the museum if you want. Would recommend!

The Finnish Labor Museum Werstas offers an interesting account of the history of Finland from the perspective of the ordinary, working class Finns. Lots to see and think about!

National history of working class living from past to today. Focus on early ages of independence and Civil War. Also shortly about time WW2. After war age. Included exhibition of steam engine, folk artist. Free admission. English, Swedish, Finnish.

I hope I would have visited this museum earlier... I found it very interesting, and I think every Finn should visit this place - but of course it’s valuabe for foreigns too.
