Certainly worth a visit to take a look at the ocean and the big waves and have a wonder around. Not much there except great scenery, the ocean and lots of squirrels. We visited both at low and high tide. Forget swimming at high tide...More

When we went there, it was so windy that we could hardly stand on our feet. The waves were huge, and that made the landscape wildly amazing.

Big waves and a surfers paradise. Not suitable for children and swimming. Great and spectacular views for photography. Big difference in high and low tide. At high tide it was nearly impossible to walk along the long beach.

Definetly worth to visit:) huge beach with black volcanic rocks, white sand and big waves.. not too much windy or you can find some place close to rocks with no wind at all and enjoy a company of squirrels :)

In this place you can see how the volcano formed the island for centuries, you can climb on the mass and see the beauty caves formed on the cliff.

The beach is beautiful with a scenic drive there bit it has always been windy each time I have been (twice). Indeed it has always been to windy to get undressed on the beach. The sea good for surfing but can be dangerous to swim...More

tucked away in La Pared and mostly only accessible during low tide, this is a splendid example of still characteristically rugged and secluded Fuerte beaches. Several surf schools coach their newbies here and teach them to stay out of trouble.

We took a two days course with ADRENALINA surf school and managed to stand up and screeeeeeem! The surf was at times well overhead. Such quantities of ocean have to go somewhere, so beware of the currents. Do not leave your kids unattended.

This beach is not one of those tourist beaches where you see a lot of tanning beds and bars and stuff. La pared itself is tiny and this beach is also very rural but so gorgeous. While Costa Calma beach is the typical tourist beach...More
