Built over 200 years ago the facade is predominantly yellow, with white columns and windows and is unmissable from Senate Square. Formerly used by the Imperial Senate of Finland, this local landmark is now used by the Finnish government and prime minister.

This is one of the older and more impressive buildings in Helsinki and is well worth a visit when you're there. Hard to miss when you're at Senate Square and admiring the nearby cathedral.
