Kaisaniemen puisto is not really a park, there are a bit of greenery, a fountain, that is usually not operational, a football-field and a basketball and tennis courts. And lots of winos. And when the evening comes, It's mainly populated by gangs of youngsters looking for somebody to intimidate. You won't miss much, if you give this area a wide... More

The park is fine and they organize nice concerts there every now and them. But as a woman I would never walk trough it during the night.

Nice park. I was there for the Easter play and procession and it seemed like the perfect location. It was a little chilly after a while.

decent sized part to hang with friends and have a few drinks during the warmer months. there is enough room not to be disturbed by other people, except the can collectors who often hang around a little too close than you might like. otherwise an enjoyable place to hang out, also to explore inner botanic gardens and further away you... Place to experience (free) concerts and even festivals in summertime. There is a restaurant and a restaurant/cafe in the park. The cafe has lovely outdoor terrace, go and have a bottle of local lemonade. After that have a walk by the sea (Kaisaniemenlahti) and visit the botanic garden which is actually a part of Kaisaniemenpuisto. The park itself offers nothing... More

just a green spot next to the city center, not a "must to see place" Nice and tidy for a walk with a buggy, I think. Personnally, I would enjoy a bit just crossing it to get front point A to point B, but I wouldn't pay it a special visit. Gush, It was hard to get 100 characters for... More

If there's a park in the middle of a city, it should be much more pleasent. This is rather boring. Good for bigger happenings and concerts during summer though.

If you decide to go, avoid all foreign-looking and/or otherwise suspicious people. Nice park, especially summertime, and if you can avoid being pick-pocketted mugged or scammed:)

Nice and quiet place for relaxing without any freshments. Good place to do a bit of sledging when there's enough snow
