After visiting the Stockman Department Store, I crossed the street and visited this Shopping Center. Initially! I thought it was a hotel, but when I saw some of its customers coming out of the store with shopping bags, I realized that it is another big store.

I briefly walked around and checked out their merchandises and prices. Did not buy anything here, having purchased stuffs that I needed at the Stockman Department Store.

Spring light flows down the high atrium of the mall which you can also descend by an elegant spiral staircase. Two culinary newcomers have just opened for those who crave for something sweet. The healthier is Finnish Steelcut situated in the middle of the entrance lobby and serving special oatporridge with fruits, nuts and berries. Japanese Momochi has two products, brightly glazed doughnuts and sticky ice cream balls both made on the premises. The first small shopping complex was established at this busy crossroads already in 1952. When the new one on several levels was opened in 1985 Kimmo Kaivanto's elegant sculpture fountain Nereidi was on a prime location in front of a restaurant, now the 2nd floor corner is quite abandonded.

If the weather is nice on your trip, I suggest you save the Forum for when rain or other severe weather puts a damper on your plans (Helsinki is best experienced outdoors whenever possible). If you do enter, the mall is quite nice—it’s safe, clean, and diverse in terms of selection of stores and restaurants. Not as impressive as other malls I’ve seen, but still perfectly fine.

The Forum is a spot-on place to spend time during rainy city weather. Thanks!

This centrally located shopping center was already opened in 1985. It is internally connected to Central Station and Kamppi Center which is very handy during bad weather.

The atrium is beautifully decorated during Christmas time.

This is a giant mall with two sections! You have to walk through the connecting bridge to get to the main mall. There are so many shops, both American brands and Scandinavian. There are also tax free options for tourists, and you can get your refund downtown at the Stockmann. There are also many restaurant options.

This is one of many shopping malls in town and honestly there's not that big difference between them as they represent more or less the same brands. Many shops and restaurants. It was a rainy day so we used the underground tunnel to move between Forum and the Kamppi shopping mall next door. From Forum we also used the underground tunnel all the way to the railway station.

You find everything possible here. Highlights or specialties are Moomin Shop, Finnish design shops (e.g. Pentik, Marimekko, Seven Art and TRE Design Outlet), The Candle Shop, KILALA kawaii shop, CaSac Maison (Italian and French fashion), Nail Studio HelmiNails and Juhlamaailma Party Shop (balloons, decorations, makeup).

There are also several good restaurants and cafeterias there. I especially love Fazer Café Forum, because their cakes and fancy cakes are extremely delicious. Besides, there are interesting works of art in Forum.

In case you are on a search for some specific store type - the search is not exactly helpful as would not provide meaningful results. After all it is another shopping center

This is a major shoping centre in Helsinki. It has levels 0,1,2,and 3. It has toilets on levels 0 and 3 and some on another level K and has plenty of parking. It is also near a underground railway station. It has food shops and majors like H and M, Dressmann,Slepa and Lindux.. It also has Mc Donalds and Subway and Info!

It is fair to assume that I did not want to be there in the first place but I was for a valid reason, so it seemed at the time and as we did not find what the purpose of the visit was for., walked out. In fairness it was a fairly typical mix of shops but it did not set a standard that was for me. There were better places in Helsinki which I unfortunately found myself visiting and escaped as quickly as possible.
