This is not a building you will find easily, especially if you are taken away by the Helsinki Senate Square, yet it is very close and it looks brand new because it is very well taken care of. Just a stroll from the Senate Square and a great photo site.

This is City Hall and a (used) public building. We were directed here to find a public toilet, which was clean, available and free. There was free computer access (ask at reception for a PIn number) and a wide range of leaflets about local attractions available. An interesting engineering and machinery dispaly was worth a look, as was the building... More

OK to have a quick look around. Nice stately building. Don't plan on spending that much time here...

I stayed one night in this special building. It is the central administrative building of Capit.l The city hall is located in the Kruununhaka district next the main market square.

We popped into Helsinki City Hall to find a bathroom for our two year old - well we did, and also ended up spending an hour or so looking at the art installation on Bonk Corporation. We also got free maps of the city, other info and pens. The building is quite interesting itself and well restored/maintained (and accessible)

in this city hall, diverse shops were missing from far, for example there are only some for technological equipment. at least toilets are very clean...

The city hall building can not be missed.. It is at the market square. It is distinctive for its light blue colour that is in contrast the neighbouring buildings. Inside it is a resource of city information
