One of my favourite Helsinki seaside walks is from the Sibelius Monument. Getting there by public transport is easy, Simply take No.24 bus from outside the Sokos department store near Kamppi and get off at Sibelius Monument.

We just happened upon this Great park. It is beautiful to walk around and explore. You can even have a seat and just enjoy the great 'pipe' statue! Love Sibelius and love this park! FREE!

We took busses to reach it. Helsinki busses are clean and comfortable. It is only 15 or twenty minutes from Rock Church including walking. I turned on Finlandia and stared at the sculpture while walking slowly. The Korean tourist continued taking photos likely unaware of...More

I am a Sibelius fan. The scenery and music are very moving. The music is not popular today, and I believe it should be. It represented Sibelius's time and Finland's situation at the time it was composed. A trip back in history.

The Finns are such nice people, and Helsinki is such a wonderful city, that I feel bad to run down anything in this lovely place. BUT..... this is not one of their best tourist attractions. The park is nothing great. Just an ordinary park, nothing...More

The artwork here is very impressive and quite futuristic. Even if you ignore the artwork its an amazing park. We reached when it was all cloudy and dark so couldn't capture good photos. Would recommend visiting in daylight.

The park was not very big, nor did it have much flowers and plants. The monument was ineresting and different from what I expected. Also kind of interactive, which was nice.

Located on the outskirts of the city, and for us quite a trek as we decided to get there by foot. It's about a 45 minute walk from the quay (fish market). The hop on hop off bus stops here, so the place can be...More

Sibelius Monument is a very nice monument located in Töölö, near the sea. The area is quite relaxing and nice. It is worth to pay a visit there.

It costs nothing to go enter the park. It’s an open park for everyone to walk around and enjoy the open space.
