One of my favourite Helsinki seaside walks is from the Sibelius Monument. Getting there by public transport is easy, Simply take No.24 bus from outside the Sokos department store near Kamppi and get off at Sibelius Monument.
We took busses to reach it. Helsinki busses are clean and comfortable. It is only 15 or twenty minutes from Rock Church including walking.

I am a Sibelius fan. The scenery and music are very moving. The music is not popular today, and I believe it should be. It represented Sibelius's time and Finland's situation at the time it was composed. A trip back in history.

The artwork here is very impressive and quite futuristic. Even if you ignore the artwork its an amazing park. We reached when it was all cloudy and dark so couldn't capture good photos. Would recommend visiting in daylight.
