Not a very large museum, and the exhibits were a bit eclectic. There was no charge for entrance. I especially loved the old panaromic photographs of the city.

I wasn’t expecting much from the museum considering it was free, but was impressed. Free lockers for coat etc storage was a good start. The children’s area was really fun and interactive and you could see how much kids were enjoying dressing up and learning....More

Provides some insight into how life was in historic Helsinki.The little thing offered was informative.However, no greater remission when the visit was free.Nice cafe in the street level.

This museum is free to enter. There is not a lot to see but it is very interesting in its own way. Nice use of 3D glasses.

Love this museum. It is free of charge, free lockers for your bags, interactive exhibitions and wonderful photo department, where you can see and touch printed photos of Helsinki from 1910-1920.

Yes it is a very good museum with three floors of exhibits which change. The timeline located on the ground floor is a good place to start and the 2nd floor exhibit showing different periods from the past. Free entry, free wifi. Clean and tidy...More

Best to leave your luggage at the train station - it’s done the stairs on the east side of the building
