The Esplanade Park was beautifully and simply lit with Christmas lights when I visited but it was quite beautiful and would no doubt be so in summer months. Eino Leino's sculpture commanded our attention, enough to look up his poetry. There is something very Russian...More

Great park for strolling in Helsinki. The park is surrounded by department stores and restaurants and is easily accessible via the tram. Quick access to other landmarks as well, like the Uspenki Cathedral and the Helsinki Cathedral. We were there in December and it was...More

Because of its central location, Esplanadi is a very inviting park located at the center and near everything in Helsinki. It is easy to access and one is almost always going to walk through or by it at one point or another. It has some...More

A little park right in the heart of the city. A nice relaxing atmosphere to take a break from shopping and sightseeing. Some great photo opportunities and views of the architecture on the buildings across the road.

A nice park right in the centre. Great to just hang around if the weather is nice. Around christmas the lights are usually quite beautiful.

A beautiful park in the centre of this beautiful city. It was busy, even when the weather wasn’t the best, but it was a lovely break from the shops, although retail therapy is not far away! It is a must to return when the sun...More

It is really nice park in the heart of Helsinki. Many people are there, but sometimes many drunk ones. Still, it is worth to visit and spend evening with family or friends

The park starts (or ends depending on you point of view) by Market Square where the Havis Amanda fountain is. It's a great park to have lunch or grab a snack. There are plenty of benches to sit and relax. Lots of vendors are dotted...More

I do believe where the cruise ports you just keep walking west a couple of blocks and you will be in the middle of Esplanadi. Lots of shops, snacks and salons. Public market at the port, too. Local food and art/crafts. Enjoy!
