Once you have decided to see Stockholm or Helsinki for yourself and have booked your flight, there’s an exciting opportunity to see the other city, hassle-free! There are regular sea connections between the two cities throughout the year. Two shipping companies, Viking Line and Tallink...More

Sailed on the Viking Xprs and loved every minute of the 2.5 hour transit. Huge ship with many restaurants, shopping opps. disco, bars and deck space for catching rays, fresh air and photos. The ship is clean. Booking is so easy online and reasonably priced.

The trip was from Stockholm to Åland island (in Finnland) and back. We got a special view from the top deck to the buildings of Stockholm, and we saw a lot of islands. The boarding time was around 7:30, and we reached Åland around 14:00....More

Prices were very reasonable, but we were not too happy with the services on board. Wifi was extremely unreliable (didn't work most of the time). There wasn't much to do. We played a game of bingo which was 5 euros per bingo card and the...More

An excellent day excursion from Helsinki to Talinn. The cruise has live band, dance floor, bar and an upper deck. You can return by the same cruise in the evening after visiting the old city of Talinn.

Reservation process is easy and user-friendly, arrival experience very smooth too. There are many types of cabins, most ofthem quite sparse, unless you book a higher category - which is really not necessary, as you sleep one night only. There is plenty of entertainment and...More

Went to Tallinn to spend few hours there to do some shopping etc. The cost for these cruises is ridiculously cheap as they want passengers onboard to spend money (which I did, I bought one soft drink for 0.40 €). There were some activities for...More

Booking a one way trip, what is the best option to store luggage? If I book a cabin, can I store my luggage safely whilst taking time out to explore the ferry?

Are you travelling to Tallin or to Stockholm? When to Stockholm you actually book a cabin. When to Tallin there are lockers or a luggage room. For lockers reserve 1,2 euro coins. Both options are safe.
Viking line Tallinn to Helsinki day trip in November - I just wanted to ask are you able to go onto deck in November to see the Finland islands at all? Is the crossing likely to be choppy in November? Also are you close to the main sites of Helsinki from where you dock? Thank you!

If you wanna see some islands the best option is TURKU-STOCKHOLM. The ferry goes through a lot of small and nice islands...absolutely amazing.
