Interesting place for a short visit. Church is built into the rock, not quite in the way I had imagined but interesting nevertheless.

Built into the surrounding rock layer, this church is round with small windows at the the top of the walls. It is a simple design, built in modern church style. There was a piano recital going on while we were there.

It is one of the most interesting churches in Helsinki. Its asset is its structure. It has a good acoustic effect and often concerts are organised inside. For religious people, it looks like a calm place to visit.

It is worth seeing. Church built out of a rock. Nice but plain interior. We enjoyed it. Cost was 3 euros a person to enter. They have a public WC.

A church built into a hill, surrounded by rock. Different, but not overly impressive in any way. There's a modest entry fee. A place to pop into once on your walking tour.

It is an impressive bit of architecture, but not worth a special visit. We stopped by during our Panorama Helsinki Tour of 2.5 hours and it was nice to get off the bus and walk around the corner to the church for a look and to stretch our legs. The copper roof is also impressive and very nice to look... More

This is an interesting building which was one of the highlights of a tour of the city. Built into the hillside, its bare rock and simple design making a striking if unusual church.

Unassuming exterior. The interior was surprisingly different than other european churches. Ceiling of copper. Walls of rough rock. Full of light
