- Julia R4 contributionsNice experience, will return oftenWe live in Helsinki and haven’t been until now as the entry price is rather high and we thought it was just for tourists. However, we decided to visit recently after a colleague mentioned she enjoyed going to swim. We have been having a grey and cold summer here but wanted to have a swim and try to sunbathe, along with sauna and were pretty impressed by how well everything works. Facilities were clean and pleasant and workers were professional. Perfect for those like me who want a dip after sauna but do not like murky and dirty seawater. We would happily return as its 20 minutes walk from our house. Minus 1 star for some rather jarring construction noise at the manmade “beach” area.Visited July 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 11 July 2023
- Katie HMelbourne, Australia322 contributionsTotally worth €18 entryVisiting the city, I purchased a 3-hr access ticket. My experience was marvellous. With full access to all pools and sauna, I spent a happy few hours here. It was busy, but not too busy. And, everyone is just out to enjoy themselves without interruption by others. Perfect. Lots of deck chairs to sit out and enjoy the sun, too, and an area to make purchases if you’re feeling peckish. The changing rooms are clean and secure to store belongings, the showers are open, great water pressure and products. Handy to see many staff around, and folks on duty watching each of the pools. It seems to be a place favoured by locals and tourists alike. Being right on the harbour, there is a lot to sit back and watch when sitting poolside. Tip: bring your own towel, or pay another €8.90 for the convenience of getting on at the sea pools.Visited July 2023Travelled soloWritten 13 July 2023
- DrewSwindon, United Kingdom21 contributionsDefinitely worth a visit! This place is the perfect relax stop after days of sightseeing Helsinki. It's located at Market Square so you can watch cruise ships sailing away as you swim. The swimming pool was very clean and deep for a swim. Also, I enjoyed going in the cold water of the sea pool and then went into a hot sauna straight away. Again, the place is amazing and the staff was lovely. I would highly recommend it as it's right in the heart of Helsinki and you can enjoy it for only 18 euros.Visited August 2023Travelled soloWritten 28 August 2023
- Andy C19 contributionsGreat ExperienceBeen here 2 days on the trot: in the rain on Day 1 and glorious sunshine on Day 2! Very relaxing. The sea pool was closed on Day 2 due to bad water quality so the price was reduced. Shared sauna has an amazing view of the harbour and islands in the distance. No limit to your stay, €18-22 p/p. Towel rental extra.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 September 2023
- active-traveler-bcUcluelet, Canada8 contributionsDecent experienceOverall good experience. Locals visit regularly. The only negative as the $8 charge for a towel which Lowly includes in their price and value wise Lowly is better but this one was decent for sure. There is a filtered sea water pool which is nice. There is also a heated chlorinated pool though I didn't do that for health reasons.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 7 November 2023
- StewartholtYork, United Kingdom209 contributionsTake a towelExhilarating experience. It had to be done although I had thought that I would back out. Take the sauna first to build up some heat and then slowly steadily walk into the sea pool. It's not necessary to stay in a long time or to swim, just a quick dunk is fine. Get out, stand around outside for a minute then revisit the sauna. There are several saunas on site although my favourite was the panorama harbour view. Swimming costumes are required for the mixed ones and do take a towel with you. €8 to hire a not particularly good one is too much considering the €18 entrance feeVisited November 2023Travelled on businessWritten 21 November 2023
- fizzlesSydney, Australia457 contributionsEnergising experienceThis was a great experience. Went here on a cold snowy day as a family activity. We started with the sauna. They have a female sauna, a male sauna and mixed saunas. We went earlier in the day and got quite busy as the day went on. After the sauna we braved the ocean pool. This was very cold but I went in and rushed straight back to the sauna. We also went in the heated outdoor pool which seemed really warm after the cold ocean pool 😂. The only thing I would do differently next time is bring slides or reef shoes for my feet. My feet were aching from the cold walking between the sauna and pool. Overall had a fantastic time here.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 January 2024
- steventhebeardLinslade, United Kingdom49 contributionsBreathtaking……..literally!What a great place to go. It was a snowstorm on the day I visited with sleet and snow so not the ideal time to be popping outside from sauna to sauna but it only added to the atmosphere. There are a couple of saunas to start with near the changing facilities which are both shared and then you can progress further outside to more saunas, a heated pool at 27*C and then a sea pool which was 2*C. Bring flip flops as walking across the snowy pathway is freezing to and from the saunas or pools but whatever you do, make sure you take a plunge in the sea pool….you won’t regret it! It was full of sea ice when I did it but I felt like I’d really achieved something. Additionally swim suits/ shorts are all worn in case anyone wanted to know.Visited January 2024Travelled soloWritten 28 January 2024

- fanouliKarditsa, Greece82 contributionsA unique experienceEverybody that goes in Helsinki must try this experience. It was a wonderful feeling swimming in the open with 1 degree Celcius. The big sauna had an amazing view and the smaller ones had a cozy feeling and were next to the cold plunge pool which also everyone has to try. On Saturday it was crowded but on weekdays it is much better.Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 28 February 2024

This is a nice complex of several outdoor pools - some cold, some warm.
There's a lovely vantage point in the nearby restaurant, where you can see the pools with the sea in the back.

My husband and I did not do much swimming in the pool because we were cold. We were able to walk around in it.

Hi! I will go to your pool with my kids. I’m a woman and kids are 7&10 years old boys. So they can not use the locker room of woman side. Can they use your locker room of man side only for kids?

Hola , lo mejor en llevar un short aparte para pasar del sauna a la piscina , ya que es más cómodo según yo, pero todas las opciones son válidas, saludos

Hi, there are all three kinds, bring your own swimming gear and towel, slippers and be prepared for a tiny and crowded locking room.
