Great shopping street with lots of nice pubs, restaurants and cafes that are more quaint and affordable than central Gothenburg. I would recommend En Deli Haga for food (good selection of vegetarian food, draft beer and a great outdoor seating area) and market 29 for contemporary Scandi style home ware shopping.

I went for a stroll around Haga but didn't find it as appealing or attractive as I had initially expected, based on what I had read about it in reviews and guides. Haga is a compact neighbourhood focused around one main street, mostly occupied by cafes and boutique shops. Its cobbled streets give it a pleasant appearance and it is... More

This street looks good even on a grey October day. Along its length are some great small shops and cafes. It feels like the real Göteborg. Felt a friendly kind of neighbourhood.

This part of town is good for taking a stroll and sit down in one of the many cafes or visit the small shops. It's a cozy neighborhood and has a beautiful relaxed charm.

Haga is definitely worth a visit if you're in Gothenburg, but don't plan an afternoon around it without a long fika included - it's only short, but it is very sweet.

Strolling around the Haga is a great way to spend a few hours, especially in the morning to lunch time, the place is buzzing with everyone sitting outside the cafes eating traditional cinnamon buns and drinking coffee. There are some lovely quaint and quirky shops where we bought all of our holiday gifts.

It was recommended to us that we visit this area and we weren't disappointed, the area is easy to walk in, there are lots of shops selling Swedish items, as well as pastry shops and coffee shops. The area is clean and well maintained .

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch but absolutely perfect for a fika, check out the Cafe Husaren to try their famous cinnamons that will be bigger that your head (meant to be shared). There will also be lots of unique boutiques on this little street, anything from antiques to modern scandinavian design. A must if you visit Gothenburg!!
