We did a mullti day hiking trip mostly along the Nissan river. it is a nice river to hike next to and the surrounding area is also very nice. the is enough current in it so the are not that many mosquitos while hiking. Great...More

This is a beautiful river. If you are in the area you should pass it if you like rivers. I always find water soothing.

Nissan is a beautiful river you can stroll along in the centre of Halmstad. You, can fish, do Stand Up Paddling, canoing, whatch beautiful buildings of both modern and ancient sort. There are lots of restaurants and bars along the piers.

Passing the center of Halmstad, with really nice walks along the river. Most fantastic during the spring-time, this is a relaxing and most beautiful part of the city. Start on one side, pass a bridge, and g back on the other side.

Good hard paths either side of the river with some nice parks to walk through. Care required however as you share the paths with cyclists
