Karlstad Cathedral is the church of St. Peter and in Karlstad city center. It is a white-lumped stone church and large and bright inside. The cathedral is open every day.

Relatively recent, consecrated in 1730 (the earlier cathedrals burnt down). Really light and beautiful inside, very inviting, with one of the biggest organs in Sweden. Definitely worth visiting. In the summer, the tower is open to visitors.
