My colleague said people were dressed in olden day clothing - so I went there and it was true. No, they weren't in character like that south park episode.

Its a nice area of town, to which they have transported and preserved the 19th century houses from the local district. It has a really nice atmosphere to it. Beware, that the houses themselves have opening hours, which differ from season to season.

We visited on a really wet and windy day, so it was lovely to wander around this huge cathedral.... it was so impressive and the modern touches, like dressing up for children, play area etc. We loved the architecture... A must visit location....

Very interesting outdoors museum, with beautiful wooden houses. Almost like a real village, even if it is fake (the buildings gavee mostly been relocated here from other parts of linkoping).
