So the reason why I travel to Örebro it's because my sister lives here and I'm so lucky to have a sister in this fantastic city. Everything is perfect with this place especially the town and the castle that's surrounded with water. Everyone been told when they where young about an princess that's stuck in the castle with crocodiles swimming... More

Nice exterior. Guided tour only on weekdays inside the castle. There is a small exhibition area which you can visit at the corner of the building. I visited the place on a weekday and i was all alone in the area. I don't feel good so I left. All description were in Swedish, which is a disadvantage for non-speakers.

The caste is beautiful and so accessible downtown. Probably the most beautiful caste in Sweden! You can also go inside and get information and visit the castle, ghost hunt and other activitys! Lovely place, summer and winter

What can I say, pictures are enough to tell it's worth to see it with your own eyes. Even when there are no guided tours, it's possible to visit the North Western tower (same opening hours as tourist info, located in the South Western tower) with a small but interesting exhibition about the history of the castle. In Swedish, but... More

I have been to Orebro first time and I can easily say that the castle is one of the places not to be missed. Nice piece of history. Just the only thing missing - spring

I have been to Orebro, Sweden 3 times in the last 12 months. I always need to take a nice walk past this castle, see the water surrounding the building. It doesn't matter if it is in the middle of winter or spring or summer. This is a pleasant walk and admire the architecture of this building

Drove around Orebro to see interesting places and found this marvelous castle. Did not get to see inside though. Wish we had more time to explore Orebro.

I love castles and orebro castle is near to the hotel I stay. The problem, it only opens on weekends. That is such a downer. The castle look fantastic from the outside though.
