I was rather disappointed by this visit. Only a few cases with very old crowns and swords on display. I thought the armoury was more interesting and that was free!

This was my second visit to the Treasury - part of the Royal Palace complex. The museum is very small but houses the crown jewels and regalia - definitely worth a visit.

Who doesn't love crown jewels?! While there is not a lot to see, what is available is worth drooling over for a quick visit.

I believe it's small part of Treasury. There are real crowns (with lots of diamonds), swords and some extra pieces belongs to Swedish Kings. You can't take your eyes of the crowns. There is one strict rule in there, no photos. Taking photos is forbidden....More

The Swedish crown jewels are very lovely but almost impossible to see in the very badly lit dungeon/vault in which they are housed. Of course light is bad for textiles, and the crowns all have beautiful embroidered blue silk tops, but light does nothing to...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
