To be honest: Climbing the hill is making you sweat. But the breeze on the top will cool you down and the views from there are amazing. I choose the way which led me to the top of the hill (Skinnarviksberget) which takes between 20...More

This is the second place to have a great view over Stockholm and I like this better, the other point is Fjällgatan littel bit more noisy. Monteliusvägen is a great place to have a great view over Stockholm, come in the morning with your Coffey...More

Worth the walk to Sodermalm, and worth seeking out this small gem. The vista is beautiful, there are picnic tables where you can sit or eat or rest or chat. Lovely interlude.

If you visit Stockholm, take your time to visit Monteliusvägen. It might be a little hard to find, but when you are there you have a fantastic view over the city.

We missed the path the first time by just 10 meters as the signpost was not easy to spot when we entered from the Sodermalm side. We were surprised to find out later how we could have missed it in the first place ! The...More

Monteliusvägen offers fantastic views of the nearby islands and Stockholm City Hall. The paths getting there are quite steep and have a lot of steps so be prepared! It is definitely worth the walk particularly if it’s a nice day.

Probably one of my favourite spots to chill, breathtaking view over the city, easy to access. Keep in mind that if you want to see the New Year's fireworks from here it's going to be crowded, save yourself a spot early!

We came to this path and its stunning view over the Old City as part of a longer walk around Sodermalm. Other than the ancient cobble stoned streets earlier in the walk, this was certainly the highlight. Benches allow you to rest and take in...More

This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a
postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its
center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase
neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential
area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes
to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with
sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars.
Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park

Hi, no, you can't! To be honest, unless you have a bigger reason for that, its not necessary. Its 2 streets away from one main avenue -Hornsgatan- (5min walk). The point is that that part of the city is already a hill, so... More
