Lovely exhibitions and lovely staff. Some really interesting exhibition design with drawers to pull out and a variety of ways to get information. Definitely recommended.

Although the Museum is a little difficult to locate, a visit is well worth the effort. The Museum is interesting and well organized with explanations in Swedish and English. But the Holocaust Exhibition was a disappointment as all the explanations were in Swedish only. This...More

Small and hard to find but well worth it, English translations are very good. Learn about Swedens relationship with its Jewish citizens past and present. A little overpriced at 80sek each for what took us half an hour to get round.

The museum opens at 12noon. I went there at 12 on Wednesday and was the only visitor then. The lady in charge offered to play the 30-min video on Jewish history in Sweden right then instead of waiting till 1:30pm. The video has English subtitle...More

Considering Stockholm doesn't have a large Jewish population, it was nice to see the Jewish museum there with a decent collection of items and information. It seems that the purpose of this museum is more to inform non-Jews about the practices and symbols of Judaism,...More

This museum was showing an excellent documentary movie about the history of Jews in Sweden. Apart from the movie, the museum didn't really have a lot to offer. Some ceremonial objects which seem to have been randomly collected, some biographical displays about Jewish philanthropists with...More

The museum has only two large rooms, one displaying a wonderful collection of Judaica, with its provenance and background clearly explained in (mostly) both Swedish and English. There is even an infamous yellow star, which European Jews were forced to wear by the Germans. A...More

We were intrigued by the thought of a Jewish Museum in Sweden, with such a small Jewish population. The museum is small, too, but the space and the exhibits are designed to beautifully display the history and primary hallmarks of Jewish life in Europe. We...More

Though this museum isn't on a scale with those in other large cities, the space as been adapted to explain the immigration of Jews to Sweden. The collection is well described and individual pieces and exhibited well. An unusual use of space to give the...More
