Rosendals' Garden is an oasis in the heart of our Stockholm, an inspiration for enjoyable, sustainable living and a role model for people living in urban settings. For more than thirty years Rosendals' Garden Foundation has cultivated and spread biodynamic farming practices and has been a driver of the farm to fork concept. Our renowned cafe/ restaurant, wood-fired stone oven bakery and boutique are focused on highlighting the beauty and variety of flavours of locally produced organic ingredients including our own vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and honey. Explore the orchard that boasts over 50 different kinds of apples, the rose garden, pre-school teaching greenhouse and garden, vineyard, green houses, a garden center, vegetable and flower gardens and even the beehives. We even custom grow and supply vegetables to some of Stockholm's best restaurants. Opening times vary through the season - see website for more info. January closed, Feb. - April open Tuesday - Sunday , May - Sep. open everyday, Midsummer weekend 24-26st of June closed, Oct. - 20 th Dec. open Tuesday - Sunday.

Rosendal is perfect as your goal when you take a stroll on Djurgården. When you enter the Rosendal area which is a large cultivated park you see the green houses in a distance. If the weather is wet or cold you can sit inside and feel cozy or if the sun is shining you can find your own little spot... More

Everyone in my group enjoyed everything, especially the vegetarians. Beautiful botanical gardens envied by my green thumbed mother-in-law. It was quite a walk to get to restaurant but worth the experience.

The Rosendals Garden is a wonderful mixture between Garden and Park with a charming little restaurant and cafe. We had a delicious meal, with a lot of vegetables they grow right there in the fields. There is a lot of space to be and relax. You can read a book, enjoy the sun and you don't even have to pay... More

You should be into plants if you go to this garden, they have so many cool and amazing plants. Locals come here to buy plants, but the rest of us can just wander and enjoy. They do close early if I recall, so check that time before you head over there. And be sure to get some delicious pastries and... More

One of the best things about Sweden are the MANY parks and gardens. Many green spaces for everyone to enjoy. Rosendals is wonderful. In June the air is thick with the smell of Jasmine. Very highly recommend for a nice romantic stroll.

Set in beautiful green grounds and orchards, this is a wonderful place for couples and families to visit in summer, just off the busy city museums and streets. Try the local cafe/restaurant for organic meals and desserts

The perfect antidote after our visit to The ABBA museum - a short walk away these beautiful gardens, meadows and orchards are blissful. The café was recommended but closed for a private event the afternoon we went. You could certainly take a picnic and enjoy the many garden rooms at your leisure.
