This is a large building where the Swedish legislature meets. There is a street that goes thru the middle of the building. When the legislature is in session tours are not accepted, but stroll thru the street to get a feel for the place

Really nice guided tour and the building is very interesting itself. There is also a nice garden circling around the part of the building. Be there at least 20 minutes before the tour starts as there are only 28 places and it fills up quickly.

Obviously, this neoclassical style building is the seat of the parliament of Sweden, the Riksdag. Besides the Riksdagshuset, the complex also houses the The Riksbank (National Bank), which we passed by on our way from the Royal palace.

This is a beautiful building - very impressive. It was on our route to the other islands most days so we walked past it often. Didn't go inside (not sure if you can) but it was impressive in the sunshine!
