great place to visit and usually not to crowded. well worth a stop to visit this old prison when in town.

Very very pleasant to walk all around the island taking in the boats on the water and sitting every now and then to do as the locals do and read in the sun. Great place for a picnic and a couple of small sandy beaches...More

Connectin Sodermalm and Langholmen island is a bridge. On this bridge you can see fantastic views of the city and of the canals/river. It is also a popular running location.

Långholmen is a fantastic little island in the midst of Stockholm - here you can swim, have a picnic, or just take a walk among the trees and flowers. Or you can visit Långholmen's prison museum, which is really interesting.

Langholmen is a very lush island just next to Södermalm. If you are looking for a spot to swim in lake Mälaren, Langholsem is the place to be!
