A short walk from Gamla Stan with lots of vintage shops, cafes , restaurants and a very cool vibe. Such an interesting walk through an area that has many less tourists (although I was one ) and lots of local flavor.

Public transport makes Sodermalm very accessible. Happily it boasts residential areas in a relaxed ambience which makes it ideal to retire too after all day wondering about to see the sights.

A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision

become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy
and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the
area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so
far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason
for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance.
Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping
